• Panoramic X-rays• Digital X-rays• Intraoral Photos• Dental Imaging• 3D CT ScanDental Imaging •Dental X-rays are among the lowest radiation-emitting X-rays, due to their focus on a small area, and vary limited radiation is needed in order to create clear images of the mouth. •Images are only taken when they are necessary for accurate diagnosis and prevention, except in cases of dental emergency or when treatment requires additional diagnostic imaging.X3D CT Scan •Identify life threatening diseases, such as bone cancer, tumors and cysts, as well as early-stage tooth decay •Help your doctor place your dental implants in their best location •Can spot displaced and/or fractured teeth that other images miss •Allow each patient to better understand their diagnosis and be more confident in their treatment planXIntraoral Photos •Intraoral photography is one of the best and most advanced innovations in dental care. •The camera gives a clear, up-close view of the interior of the patient’s mouth. •The camera is able to zoom in tight on one tooth or give a full overview of your entire mouth. •The images are sent right to a computer monitor and help identify visible problems like broken filling, plaque, cavities, and gum disease. •All images captured by the camera can be printed and are saved digitally and can be emailed to specialists or insurance providers.XDigital X-rays • Allow Smiles Studio to immediately identify disease processes in parts of the tooth that can’t otherwise be seen in order to help with early detection and avoid the consequences of putting off treatment. • Speed up your appointments and help you spend less time in the chair. • Our staff can zoom in and adjust exposure, contrast, and brightness so that we can see all areas of your X-rays clearly. • You’ll see what we see with large, color-enhanced images to help you understand your individual treatment plan.XPanoramic X-Rays • Provide a broad view of the jaws, teeth, sinuses, nasal area and jaw. •Cover wider areas than traditional x-rays to provide more information than ever before about these vital structures. •Useful to plan treatments for full and partial dentures, braces, extractions, and implants.X06AppointmentsNew Patients©2018Fb | IgBackDental Images & Diagnostics

Smiles Studio understands that for many people, the very thought of going to the dentist every six months makes them wince. Sedation dentistry helps to alleviate many of the concerns and provide an anxiety-free experience for patients and allow them to recieve the care that they need.• Nitrous OxideTypes of Sedation• Oral SedationNitrous Oxide Nitrous oxide (N₂O), commonly referred to as laughing gas, is a colorless and odorless sedative. Nitrous oxide is effective because it relaxes patients with the pleasurable feelings it emits. Nitrous oxide's usefulness also stems from how quickly it works and that its effects are reversible, and it is one of the safest sedation methods available. This is the only form of sedation under which patients can drive after the procedure and can eat food within a 12-hour period of the procedure. *Patients recieving IV, oral, or general anesthesia cannot drive following the procedure or eat after midnight the night before the procedure.XOral Sedation
Sedation is the process of establishing a relaxed state for a patient through the use of sedatives.
Who could benefit from oral sedation?
● Patients with sensitive teeth, multiple dental problems, or who are dealing with dental anxiety, should ask about oral sedation.
How is it administered?
● There are multiple ways to provide oral sedation. At minimum levels, patients are given a pill about an hour before their procedure.
● The pill does cause drowsiness, but you’ll still be awake throughout.
● Most patients don’t remember anything about the procedure once the sedative wears off.
XIntraoral Photos Intraoral photos help us to see what’s going on in those hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. Using a digital camera, we can get an up-close look at those areas. These images can be seen instantly, so Dr. Ferguson, can make treatment recommendations based on the information from the intraoral photos. In addition, we can show you the state of your oral health with these images. The intraoral photos are digital files and can be shared with other dentists and doctors.XDigital X-rays X-rays play an invaluable role in the diagnosis of dental problems, as well as provide a clear picture for a dentist to accurately diagnose and provide the necessary treatment. We place a small sensor in your mouth and then an x-ray beam is sent through your teeth and into the sensor, which records the image of your teeth and sends it to the computer. The sensor can then be repositioned to image other sections of your teeth. The digital dental x-ray system is more sensitive than dental x-ray film systems, so your exposure to x-rays is cut by as much as 90%. The large and color-enhanced images let you see what your dentist sees, so it’s easier for you to understand how your dentist will treat your teeth. Your dental checkups take less time, and it’s fun to watch this system work! Most patients are amazed.XPanaramic X-Rays Panoramic x-rays show a broad view of the jaws, teeth, sinuses, nasal area and temporomandibular (jaw) joints. It covers a wider area than a conventional intraoral x-ray and, as a result, provides valuable information these vital structures. This examination is also used to plan treatment for full and partial dentures, braces, extractions and implants.XAppointmentsNew Patients©2018Fb | IgBack02Sedation -
Smiles Studio recommends that every child have thier first othodontic consultation by their seventh birthday. Even at this early age, problems with jaw growth can be identified. Having a great smile with healthy teeth, gums, and jaw is something everyone appreciates and we want to make sure that your smile is always looking its best. We can provide you and your family with outstanding treatment, offering the latest and best in techniques, equipment, and treatment options. During your consultation, you will be provided with an opportunity to take a tour of the office, meet the orthodontist and the staff, discuss your concerns, and learn what treatment options are available for you or your child. If the consultation is for a minor child, an adult parent or guardian must accompany the child for the consultation.• Braces• InvisalignBraces Over the years, braces have gotten a reputation, but they’ve come a long way. Today there are more options than ever for tooth-straightening and braces remain among the best. Metal braces - These traditional braces are the most popular and affordable option for many patients. They use a system of brackets and wires to move the teeth over time. Ceramic braces - Working much the same as traditional metal braces, the difference is that the brackets bonded to the teeth are made of ceramic. It helps prevent staining and ceramic bracks can be color matched to blend in with the natural color of the teeth.XInvisalign: Smile Studio is happy to offer these removable and custom-fitted aligners that straighten teeth without using braces. Invisalign is an othodontic appliance systes used to treat crooked and crowded teeth in teens and adults. It utilizes a system of transparent aligner trays that you wear all the time, except of course when eating, brushing, or flossing. You’ll recieve trays of aligners, each just a bit different than the previous one. These aligners will provide a slight resistance to your teeth; and over time forces them into alignment. Most importantly, Ivisalign helps you get the smile that you’ve always wanted without ever feeliing self-conscious while you do it.XIntraoral Photos Intraoral photos help us to see what’s going on in those hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. • Fillings and Crowns• Tooth Colored Fillings• Root Canal Therapy• Dental Cleanings• ExtractionsDental Cleanings Having regular dental cleanings are a necessity for both good oral health and hygiene. One of our expert dental hygienists will take the time to clean away any tartar, a bacterial film that forms and hardens on the teeth and can only be removed by a highly trained professional. Your teeth will be left free of the residue that causes tooth decay, damages your gums, and erodes tooth enamel.XExtractions Nobody enjoys the idea of having to go to a dentist or dental surgeon to get a tooth or wisdom teeth pulled – and we understand that. There are many reasons why a tooth extraction may be necessary: tooth decay, gum disease, preparation for braces, or impacted wisdom teeth extraction. We begin the tooth extraction procedure by applying a topical anesthetic gel then a local anesthetic, which will numb the area around the tooth to be removed. Once the area is fully numbed, the tooth or teeth can be extracted. Once the operation is complete, you may or may not need some stitches. The great thing is that recovery time from tooth extraction or wisdom teeth extraction is typically only a few days. There are also many things that you can do to speed up the tooth extraction recovery, such as rinsing your mouth with salt water and regularly replacing gauze.XRoot Canal Therapy If you have a severely damaged, decaying tooth or a serious tooth infection (abscess), a root canal treatment may be required. Root canals are used to repair and save your tooth instead of removing it. What is a root canal repair? The soft tissue inside your tooth that contains nerves, blood vessels and provides nourishment for your tooth is called pulp. It can become infected if you have:
- ●A deep cavity
- ●A history of dental procedures that agitate the pulp
- ●A fracture or crack in the tooth
- ●Various other injuries to the tooth that may not be visible
XTooth Colored Fillings For decades, teeth were filled with a mixture, or amalgam, of diffrent metals. Increasingly that is changing as dentists and patients turn to more natural-looking and metal free fillings to restoring their teeth. Composite resins and porcelains are being utilized as safe and predictable options with greater frequency. For many people, the biggest advantage to these filings is that they look and react like natural teeth.XFillings & Crowns If you have one or more teeth that have been impacted by damage or tooth decay, you may decide to get a crown. Smiles Studio provides porcelain crowns that are strong, durable, useful, and beautiful. Crowns help remedy chips, cracks, and cavaties and are used in anchoring dental bridges. If there is only mild damage to a tooth, a filling may be recommended for you.X03AppointmentsNew Patients©2018Fb | IgBackPreventative & General Dentistry -
Teeth Whitening Even by exercising regular brushing and flossing habits, regular cleanings, and teeth whitening toothpastes, our teeth can still lose some of their pearly shine over time. Over-the-counter tooth whiteners barely make a difference, but Smiles Studio’s professional teeth whitening treatments can help you restore that smile brighter than ever!• KöR• Cosmetic Bonding• Zoom!Dental Imaging Being able to look inside your body is one of the great medical advances that has helped doctors successfully treat patients. Today's advanced imaging includes the ability to view internal structures in 2D (x-rays) and 3D (CT Scanning). If you are a patient or referring doctor who needs a 3D CT Scan, contact us today.XZoom! Teeth Whitening Smile Studio has many teeth whitening methods available including Zoom!®, an in-office bleaching treatment. This method of teeth whitening requires a short preparation period where your mouth and gums will be covered. The Zoom!® bleaching solution is applied and the special Zoom!® lamp is shined onto the teeth. This process is done in three 15-minute sessions. You can have teeth several shades lighter in about an hour. Many teeth whitening methods cause your gums to feel irritable and sore. With the Zoom!® whitening method, irritation is minimal but the results are significant. Research has shown that Zoom!® teeth whitening system can whiten teeth up to 8 shades lighter when used in conjunction with the high intensity Zoom!® light. Getting your smile that much whiter in less than an hour with little irritation, makes Zoom!® a great choice. Before deciding whether Zoom!® in-office teeth whitening is right for you, your dentist will conduct a comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums to ensure proper health, as well as talk with you about your oral hygiene and lifestyle habits to determine if you will benefit from whitening.XIntraoral Photos Intraoral photos help us to see what’s going on in those hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. Using a digital camera, we can get an up-close look at those areas. These images can be seen instantly, so Dr. Ferguson, can make treatment recommendations based on the information from the intraoral photos. In addition, we can show you the state of your oral health with these images. The intraoral photos are digital files and can be shared with other dentists and doctors.XCosmetic Bounding Dental tooth bonding is a great “fix-all” cosmetic dentistry solution. Wherever you need help, tooth bonding is a flexible tool that can be used to correct chips, cracks, or breaks in the tooth, as well as decay, discoloration, and shape, sizing, and spacing issues. Bonding is a putty-like, tooth-colored resin that is molded into the desired shape and then hardened with a high-intensity light. Smile Studio will match it to your natural tooth shade for the result you’re looking for. Tooth bonding is usually recommended for minor decay or aesthetic problems. Seriously worn or weakened teeth may require a crown or porcelain veneers to increase strength, functionality, and drastically improve the appearance of your smile.XVeneers/ Crowns Veneers are ultra-thin shells of ceramic (porcelain) or a composite resin material, which are bonded to the front of teeth. This procedure requires little or no anesthesia and can be the ideal choice for improving the appearance of the esthetic teeth, or the teeth you see when you smile. Veneers are placed to mask discolorations, to brighten teeth and to improve a smile. Porcelain veneers and crowns share one thing: the useful and natural properties of dental porcelain. Porcelain is often selected for esthetic reasons because of its remarkable property to mimic natural tooth structure. Today’s materials are lifelike and very durable. In addition to being an esthetically pleasing material, porcelain is the strongest cosmetic tooth-colored material and it can withstand normal dental function.X04AppointmentsNew Patients©2018Fb | IgBackCosmetics

• Dental Implant Retained Overdentures• Implant Retained Dentures• Dental Implants• Dentures• Dentures - good, better, bestDental Implants Losing a permanent tooth is a major inconveniece — the gap is unsightly and can put stress on surrounding teeth. But with today’s modern materials, Smile Studio can place implants that look and feel like the real thing. For many people who have lost teeth, dental implants provide a second chance at a perfect smile!XDentures A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Dentures can be created to match your existing teeth, so they are not very noticeable. However, getting used to dentures can take a little practice, particularly when it comes to eating and speaking. Dentures must be brushed daily, just like your regular teeth. Dentures can be an important solution to tooth loss but still don’t address an underlying issue of bone loss. Your natural teeth stimulate your jawbone and keep it healthy. Dentures alone will not keep your jawbone healthy. Consider stabilizing your denture with dental implants.XDentures - good, better, best While dentures have been considered a tried and true method for tooth replacement for years, they come with their own set of issues. The main problem is that dentures rest on teeth and gums for stability. Natural teeth firmly rooted in the jawbone not only provide you with a beautiful smile but they also help maintain the bone in your jaw. Dentures don’t provide the same stimulation to the bone below your gums. Dentures can be relined every few years to compensate for bone loss and any compromised facial integrity.XImplant Retained Dentures If all your upper or lower teeth are missing, a custom-made denture may be secured using dental implants. The number of implants will vary for each patient. You will be fitted for a custom overdenture that attaches directly to the implants. The holes in the overdenture will be covered after attachment. Your new teeth are firmly supported by the implants to stimulate the jaw and maintain bone and will be removed for cleaning and maintenance.XDental Implant Retained Overdentures There have been modern advances in dentures, as there have been in many other areas of dental healthcare, and an overdenture retained by implants may be an option. Overdentures are a combination of traditional dentures and the newer science of dental implants to stabilize a loose or poorly fitting denture. Dental implants are placed which allow the denture to connect or snap onto the dentures. This holds dentures in place and prevents them from slipping, allowing you to chew and speak with greater ease. The denture can be removed for cleaning. If you are missing several teeth or already use a denture, contact us today to find out if you qualify for dental implant retained overdentures.X05AppointmentsNew Patients©2018Fb | IgBackRestorativeDentistry
